Preschool and Kindergarten students love to make music!
Studies show that music is beneficial to children’s development, and exploring music thru singing, instruments and movement is an exciting and fun way to learn!
The Preschool and Kindergarten offerings are designed to introduce music, not only in a way that is beneficial to a child’s development, but also to be an investment and firm foundation towards future instrument-focused music study.
Because I feel it is so important to expose children to our nation’s folk music, curriculum for the Preschool and Kindergarten classes use repertoire of traditional and folk literature. This curriculum is based on extensive survey and research related to the development of singing and movement skills in young children, as well as developing those important neurological connections that are enhanced by music study.
As children start developing, their innate talents begin to show and they are drawn towards particular activities. Many children start using sports and extracurricular activities to achieve success.
He health benefits of sports and games : Studies have revealed that children who play sports are less stressed out than those kids who do not take part in any physical activity. Participation in sports has many other benefits like increased cardiovascular fitness, a healthy growth in their tendons, bones, ligaments and muscles. They will develop better balance and coordination and get good sleep.
There are also social advantages of sports for kids : It helps them to make more friends. When they join a local football or a cricket team or participate in school sports, it is helpful to them as they get to make new friends. A new activity will also open up chances for an entirely new circle of friends for the kids.
Celebrating events and festivals in schools have become an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief in a child. My Planet Pre School encourage students to embrace other traditions and culture just like the way they do with their own.
Children will remember an important day only if they are told what the occasion signify, making them aware of the world in a more fun way. The events and festivals organized at My Planet Pre-School are often celebrated with great pomp and gaiety. Apart from classroom activities, we also pay heed to other important festivals which must be celebrated in order to understand our country’s tradition.
Such celebration will bring students closer to traditional and cultural belief. A close bond is built between the students as they understand each other’s different customs. Being a diverse country, the students need to know what each festival means, and it is only through this celebration, he/she will get to know more about our country.

1. Stimulates imagination: The most obvious benefit of puppet-play
is encouraging the child’s imagination and creativity. We have seen children coming up with
stories involving their dolls, from giving them names, to elaborate scenarios with their other
toys; be it a Barbie or a Transformer! With puppets, the play becomes more personalised
and fun, with the ability to manipulate them, move their limbs and head.
Parents can also read or tell fairy tales and other stories to their children and ask them to
recreate these stories using puppets. This reinforces what they have retained from the stories
they have just heard and parents can take delight in watching their kids’ versions of the tales.
2. Emotional development
Sometimes kids are shy and withdrawn and often parents have a hard time coaxing them to
share their feelings. In such cases, the puppet becomes a “friend” that kids can express their
feelings to, without the discomfort. This ensures that they have a safe space to vent their
emotions or they might even use the puppets to communicate to their parents about their
unhappiness.
Hear the spoken and unspoken through puppet play!
: Imagine printing your own toys. Or watching
your child video chat with her favorite TV character. These are just a few of
the exciting ways technology is changing playtime.
Picture a future where, rather than making a trip to the local big-box store for a toy,
your child could create toys for herself. It sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie,
but theoretically, kids can make their own creations today using a 3-D printer—if
only these devices weren't still prohibitively expensive for most families. But as with
computers and flat-screen TVs, the price of 3-D printers will eventually go down as
the tech becomes more widely available.
